Lucky village is located in south facing valley, under the hillside of Choc, between Orava and Liptov region, 621 meters above the sea level. It is 14 km far north-east of Ruzomberok, which is 280 km far from the capital Bratislava on the line Bratislava-Zilina-Kosice.

Lucky spa specialises in treatment of female diseases.

Many facilities for recreation and sport activities can be found near the water reservoir - Liptovska Mara, and in winter in Jasna and Donovaly.

Mountains around Liptov provide many terrific possibilities for hiking.
