The Transport Museum is situated in the space of the first Bratislava steam-railway station and neighboring stores originating from the 19th century. Road transport represents a collection of vehicles beginning with first transport facilities with or without driving engines across bicycles, cars and lorries from the period between wars following until vehicles of sixties and seventies of 20th century.
Visitors will be in favor of prototypes in Slovak factories developed after the WWII, military and government vehicles. On the trackage can be seen a selection of steam, electric and locomotives with combustion engines, freight wagons and special railway vehicles of the Slovak railways.
One of the exposition buildings is reserved for railway signaling, communication and security, devices for track maintenance, uniforms and other historical artefacts.
