Liptovsky Jan

Liptovsky Jan is a gate to the Janska Dolina Valley, rich on natural beauties, caves, flora, fauna, thermal water and mineral springs. It is located in the Liptov Region, in the northern part of the Low Tatras (Nizke Tatry).

The healing springs in Liptovsky Jan were popular already in the 14th century. It was proved that water has positive healing effects on skin illnesses, illnesses of kinetic system, metabolism, gynaecologic, neurological, heart and vessels illnesses.

Thermal water is used in swimming pools, water temperature is 28°C. Outdoor pools are available only during the summer season (1.6. – 30.9.).
