A Favorite Meeting and Picnicking Place

A favorite meeting- and picnicking place of the Bratislava fans of outdoor activites has developed at a Small Carpathian plateau above the Lamac urban district. It belongs to more frequented parts of the Bratislava Forest Park, where you can be sure to meet one or two groups of tourists, especially on weekends. It is considered a good tip for a not very exacting walk (families with children are not an exception|, or as a stop on a more far-flung biking trip.

Kacin is accessible from more directions. You can, among others, get there along marked trails from Lamac or places in the Vydrica brook valley (Cerveny most, Zelezna studienka), all about 4.5 – 5 km of distance.
