The New Guinea is the largest tropical island in the world. In the era of satellites, this country of mysteries, myths and undiscovered secrets hides behind green walls of impenetrable deep forest. In a labyrinth of dark swamps, people live high in the trees, in primitive conditions that have changed little since the Stone Age. The natives had not yet come in contact with white people, or with the conquests of our civilisation. Entering their territory is a dangerous adventure. Kantor: Ako asi zili nasi predkovia v dobe kamennej? To sa mozno dozvediet z tohto filmu. Aj ked u nas mali nasi predkovia mozno ine speciality. Mozno nezili vysoko v korunach stromov. A neboli odkazani najmä na pojedanie hlodavcov a vtakov, ako Stromovi ludia byvajuci v zavratnej vyske. Vo filme je velmi silne to, ako domorodci napinaju luky, ked sa k nim prvykrat priblizia biele tvare. Ozajstnym utokom domorodca sa film aj konci. Ale nikto z partie Svaricek, Barabas plus jeden sa nastastie nestal jeho obetou. Len kamera... Ale este hodnotnejsie je asi na filme to, ze zobrazuje ako si Stromovi ludia vyrabaju potraviny, kamennu sekeru. Pri filme si pride na svoje ten, kto ocakava dobrodruzny pribeh, i ten, kto hlada antropologicku studiu.
